Margaret Ann (Yannacci) Brawdy, 72, of Ruffsdale, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 23, 1951 in Greensburg, PA. Daughter of the late Norman H. and Mary G. (DeMatteo) Yannacci. She was an active lifetime member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Yukon, PA. As well as, a notary for many years. Margaret worked and retired from Pittsburgh-Fayette Express, Inc. as a secretary after many years of service. She enjoyed shopping, going to the flea markets and car shows and going out to eat. She was a Beatles and Bruce Springsteen fan and enjoyed listening to WDVE. Margaret liked taking care of her flowers, playing games and watching Law & Order. In her younger years, she went out dancing every Saturday with her husband at the Slovenian Hall. She is preceded in death by both parents and sister, Norma Jean Tonelli. She is survived by loving husband of 56 years, Ray Eugene Brawdy of Ruffsdale, PA; sons, Norman R. (Mary Jo) Brawdy of Yukon, PA and Michael Brawdy of Yukon, PA; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and brother, Mark (MJ) Yannacci of Yukon, PA. Friends will be received from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Deacon Bob Stauffer officiating. Interment will follow at the Seven Dolors Catholic Cemetery in Yukon, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in Margaret's name to the Yukon Lions Club, PO Box 206 Yukon, PA 15698.
