Diana E. Miller, 79 of Irwin passed away suddenly, Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at
her home. She was born May 11, 1944 in Arona a daughter of the late James and
Irma (Henry) Doyle.
She owned and operated Diana’s Beauty Shop in Manor for over 25 years. In
addition to her love and dedication to her family Diana shared a deep
commitment to her church where she was an active member of Zion Lutheran
Church, Harrison City, the L.C.W. at the church, and was in charge of the altar for
many years. She was a graduate of Sewickley High School and enjoyed lunch with
her classmates every month. She was a member of Manor Book Club, and
enjoyed camping, gardening, crafting and local wineries. She participated in
Senior Games and in 1999 was named Senior Sportswoman of the Year. Diana
was also noted as being the #1 Hempfield Softball fan!
She is survived by her loving husband, Earl “Butch” Miller, her children, Michelle,
Sheldon (Lisa), Darrin (Jen), Jason (Marianne); her grandchildren, Madison,
Hunter, Brady and Riley; her sister, Marilyn Tallant; brother in law, Joe (Carolyn);
cousins, Anne (Clyde) Allenbach and Denny Doyle; her dog Denali, and special
friends Bruce (Claudine) Ferguson.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the Beatty-
Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Madison, Ronald A. Rich, Jr., Supervisor/FD. Additional
visitation will take place on Monday from 10 to 11 am in Zion’s Lutheran Church,
3417 PA-130 Harrison City where her funeral service will take place at 11 am with
Pastor Roger Steiner and Pastor Bob Marks co-officiating. (Please go directly to
the church.) Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. In lieu
of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church PO Box 351 Harrison
